Our Team

Belle’s Farmstand is a mother‑daughter team, built on shared values, learning, and a love for animals.

Belle is our 7‑year‑old farm helper and namesake, and she plays an important role in daily farm life—collecting eggs, helping care for the flock, learning responsibility, and developing a deep respect for animals. What started as a family project has grown into a small farmstand rooted in education, patience, and pride in doing things the right way.

Mom oversees all flock management, health standards, breeding decisions, certifications, and customer care—ensuring every aspect of Belle’s Farmstand meets ethical, legal, and quality expectations.

Together, we are raising more than poultry—we’re raising strong values, practical skills, and a lifelong appreciation for honest farming. When you purchase from Belle’s Farmstand, you’re supporting a real family, a young farmer’s journey, and a farm built with heart.

Return and Refund Policy

All Sales Are Final

We do not offer refunds unless we are unable to fulfill your order due to circumstances on our end (e.g., flock loss, unexpected events, etc.). Pre-orders are considered final and non-refundable once placed.

SHIPPED HATCHING EGGS POLICY

Eggs are sold as pre-orders and must be prepaid to secure your spot.

Eggs are shipped in the order pre-orders are received.

Delays may occur due to weather, laying slow-downs, broody hens, predator issues, or seasonal changes.

If something unexpected happens here that prevents us from completing your order, you will be refunded or may choose a substitution.

Pre-orders are final. Cancellations are not refunded.

Fertility & Hatch Results

Our home fertility rate typically runs 99–100%, and we regularly test and candle to ensure strong fertility. However, we cannot guarantee hatch results once eggs leave our care due to postal handling, incubation conditions, varying equipment, and air cell damage during transit.

Egg Shipping & Replacement

We guarantee eggs will arrive intact and safely packaged.

If your entire dozen arrives completely demolished, we offer a one-time courtesy replacement of a full dozen (buyer covers shipping).

Discounted dozen sales or waffle wins are not eligible for courtesy replacement.

Hairline cracks may still be incubated—many customers still hatch from these.

SHIPPED LIVE CHICKS POLICY

Only ships to approved states that do not require AI testing (Texas does not test for AI).

Shipping is $70 flat rate, which covers USPS Priority Express shipping, approved live bird shipping box, supplies, grow gel, bedding, and 72-hour heat pack if needed.

Live shipping occurs only on Mondays to ensure chicks are not stuck in transit over a Sunday.

Available chicks after pre-orders will be posted on our Facebook page.

Hatch Timing & Availability

We cannot guarantee hatch numbers ahead of time—nature decides. If hatches are lower than expected, customers may be pushed to the next hatch date.

Safe Arrival Guarantee

We guarantee all chicks leave our farm healthy. If any babies arrive deceased, you must:

Take a photo at the post office, preferably validated by postal staff

Refunds or replacements (minus shipping) are at our discretion and subject to availability.

Abandoned Packages

Chicks will be marked HOLD FOR PICKUP by USPS. Customers must track and pick up promptly. USPS may rehome live animals considered abandoned. If this occurs due to lack of pickup, no refund or replacement will be offered, and the buyer may be added to our Do Not Sell list.

LOCAL PICKUP POLICY

Local pickups are typically arranged on Sundays or Mondays, first-come, first-served unless pre-ordered.

Pre-ordering (prepaying) guarantees your chosen breed will be incubated for you.

Pickup Deadline & Boarding Fees

Chicks must be picked up within 48 hours of agreed time.

After 48 hours, a $1 per chick, per week boarding fee applies.

After 2 weeks, chicks are considered abandoned and will be resold.

No refunds will be issued for abandoned chicks.

Local Live Guarantee

If a chick does not survive within 24 hours of pickup, please contact us within that time frame with:

Loss photo + setup photo (including brooder temperature).

Replacement/refund is at Belle’s Farmstand’s discretion.

STRAIGHT RUN & GENDER POLICY

All chicks are sold straight run (unsexed).

We understand many folks prefer pullets, but cockerels hatch too. We cannot guarantee gender.

We do not take back cockerels or trade roosters for hens.

We do not offer vent sexing by customers at pickup.

Single pullets, if available, are rare and sold first-come, first-served.

Grow-outs may be offered in pairs depending on availability.

CANCELLATIONS & PRICE CHANGES

All purchases and pre-orders are final and non-refundable.

Prices may change as our breeding lines improve, but once you pre-pay, you are grandfathered into that rate.
